How should Christians engage with culture, social media, and politics?

Engage as ambassadors, not combatants. We represent a King and a kingdom, so our manner matters as much as our message. The way many Christians argue online — harsh, proud, fearful, tribal — has driven more people from Christ than any argument has won. Truth and grace must travel together. Hold your earthly loyalties loosely and your heavenly citizenship tightly. Care about justice, vote your conscience, speak truth on the issues of the day — but never confuse a political party or movement with the kingdom of God, and never let outrage replace love. Our hope is not in an election but in a risen King. On social media especially, guard your heart and your witness. Be slow to post, quick to listen, and unwilling to dehumanise anyone made in God's image, even those you deeply disagree with. Ask before you post: does this look like Jesus? Scripture: Colossians 4:6 — “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.” Take this step: Before reacting to anything online this week, pause and ask, “Is it true, is it kind, is it necessary, and does it honour Christ?” Post only what passes.
