Does God still speak today, and how do I hear Him?

Yes, God still speaks — and His clearest, most reliable voice is Scripture, which is why we call it His Word. Any impression, feeling, or prompting must be tested against the Bible; God never contradicts what He has already said. Learn to recognise His voice first by saturating yourself in what He has plainly spoken. Beyond Scripture, God leads through the inner witness of the Spirit, through wise counsel, through circumstances, and at times through a strong sense of conviction or peace. These are real, but they are confirmed, never overruled, by the Word. Hearing God is less about technique and more about relationship and attentiveness. Sheep know their shepherd's voice because they spend time with him. Quiet your life, open His Word, and learn to listen.
