Romans 8:37
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Paul has just listed the things that seem able to crush us, tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, peril, sword, the whole arsenal of trouble that life and the enemy can throw at a believer. And then, against all of it, he plants this defiant word: "in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." Not "we will narrowly survive," not "we will scrape through battered and defeated," but more than conquerors, overwhelming victors, triumphing not just over our enemies but through and beyond them.
Notice where the victory comes from: "through Him who loved us." This is not the boast of our own strength or resilience. It is conquest borrowed from Christ, victory that flows from the love of the One who has already overcome. And notice the little phrase "in all these things", we are not promised escape from trouble, but triumph in the middle of it. The very things meant to defeat us become, in Christ, the arena of our victory; even our sufferings are turned to our good and His glory.
Whatever comes against you today, it cannot finally defeat you. In Christ, you are more than a conqueror.
Take Into The Day
Face today's trouble not as a likely victim but as more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you. When something threatens to crush you, declare it: the victory is His, and in Him it is yours, even in the middle of the trial.
Prayer
Father, in all the things that come against me, I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loved me. The victory is not my strength but His. When trouble threatens to crush me today, remind me that in Him I cannot finally be defeated. Amen.
