In a world of shifting sands and broken promises, offers a steadfast anchor. We often find our own plans falter, our hopes dashed by unexpected turns. This verse reminds us that God's intentions are entirely different. His 'counsel' and 'plans' are not subject to human frailty or temporal limitations; they are eternal and span 'all generations.' This truth should bring profound comfort and confidence. It means that His overarching purpose for creation, for redemption, and for His people will ultimately prevail, regardless of immediate challenges. We can rest in the knowledge that His will is sovereign and His love undergirds His every design, guiding history toward its glorious conclusion.

Prayer

Almighty God, thank You for the unwavering certainty of Your eternal plans. Help me to trust in Your sovereignty, even when my own path is unclear, knowing Your purposes stand forever.
