2 Corinthians 12:9
But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Paul's experience with the 'thorn in the flesh' led to a profound revelation about God's grace. It's not our strength, but God's strength, perfectly displayed in our weakness. This truth challenges our natural inclination to hide our imperfections or rely on our own capabilities. Instead, when we acknowledge our limitations and lean into our dependence on Christ, His power is unleashed in ways we could not orchestrate ourselves. This isn't a call to seek weakness, but to humbly recognize it, allowing it to become the very vessel through which His divine power flows. It transforms our struggles from hindrances into opportunities for Christ's glory to be made manifest through us, offering genuine, living hope.
Prayer
Gracious God, when we feel weak and overwhelmed, remind us of Your sufficient grace. May Your power be perfected in our humble dependence on You. Amen.
