Faith, as defined in Hebrews, is more than mere belief; it's a confident assurance and a deep conviction. It’s the substance of what we hope for, making real to us those future realities God has promised. It’s also the evidence of realities not yet visible, allowing us to perceive God's truth beyond what our senses can detect. This kind of faith empowers us to live not by what we see or understand, but by the certainty of God's Word and His character. It's a foundational posture for navigating life's uncertainties, moving forward with confidence in an unseen but ever-present God.

Prayer

Lord, increase our faith, that we may have firm assurance in the things we hope for and deep conviction in the realities we cannot yet see. Help us to walk by faith, not by sight. Amen.
