God speaks a profound truth through Jeremiah: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love.' This isn't a fleeting emotion, but an eternal, unwavering commitment. It's the bedrock upon which His 'faithfulness' rests. Our circumstances may change, our feelings may fluctuate, and human love can disappoint, but God's love remains constant and secure. This everlasting love is the reason He continually extends grace, mercy, and steadfast presence. It assures us that we are eternally held in His affection, regardless of our perceived worthiness or present struggles. We can rest in the certainty that His faithful love will never cease.

Prayer

Lord, thank you for your everlasting love that never changes. Help me to rest securely in your faithful affection, knowing that your love for me is eternal and unwavering, today and always.
