The Preacher observes God's meticulous hand in the rhythm of creation: 'everything beautiful in its time.' This speaks to a divine ordering, a grand design unfolding with perfect precision. It's easy for us, with our limited perspective, to feel impatient or disheartened by delays. Yet, this verse invites us to trust in God's perfect timing, even when we can't fully grasp His plan 'from beginning to end.' The 'eternity in man's heart' hints at our longing for something beyond the temporal, a yearning that only God can ultimately satisfy. Let us rest in the assurance that God is orchestrating all things, revealing beauty in each season, in His own time.

Prayer

Lord, help me to trust your perfect timing and sovereign plan, even when I don't understand the details. Remind me that you make everything beautiful in its time, and satisfy the eternal longings of my heart.
