Paul’s instruction to 'walk in wisdom toward outsiders' reminds us that our faith isn't just for personal piety, but has outward implications. Our interactions with those who don't share our beliefs are opportunities. 'Making the best use of the time' suggests intentionality in how we live and speak. Our 'gracious speech, seasoned with salt,' implies words that are both kind and impactful, offering clarity and perhaps a touch of compelling truth. This isn't about having all the answers, but about approaching others with respect, listening carefully, and being ready to share the hope within us in a thoughtful and winsome manner. May our words and actions be a bridge, not a barrier.
Prayer
Lord, grant me wisdom in my interactions with others, especially those who do not yet know you. Help my words to be gracious and relevant, reflecting your truth and love always.
