2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

Paul reminds us that God is not just the 'God of comfort,' but the 'God of ALL comfort.' This isn't a passive assurance, but an active, present truth in every trial. Furthermore, His comfort isn't just for our own relief; it equips us. Our experiences of being sustained by Him become a wellspring from which we can share strength and hope with others facing their own difficulties. This creates a beautiful, reinforcing cycle of grace, binding believers together and magnifying God’s tender care through His people. Let us not hide our struggles, but allow God to use them to refine our capacity for empathy and service.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for your unending comfort in every trial. Help me to receive your solace not just for myself, but to extend your compassion to those around me who are hurting.
