Before His departure, Jesus promised His disciples a divine helper: the Holy Spirit, the 'Advocate.' This title speaks of one who comes alongside us to counsel, comfort, and guide. The Spirit's role is not only to convict but also to teach and remind us of Christ's words. In moments of confusion, doubt, or temptation, the Spirit brings Scriptural truths to mind, illuminating their meaning and application. This ongoing spiritual education and divine recall are crucial for our spiritual maturity and perseverance. We are not left as orphans; we have a constant, indwelling Resident who empowers and enlightens us, ensuring that Christ's presence remains with us.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, thank You for being my Advocate and Teacher. Guide me in Your truth today, reminding me of Christ's words and empowering me to live according to Your wisdom.
