The psalmist, in a call to worship, directs our attention to two fundamental truths about God: His goodness and His steadfast love. 'Steadfast love,' or 'hesed' in Hebrew, speaks of a loyal, covenantal love that never quits, never wavers. It’s not contingent on our performance or circumstances but flows from God's very nature. In a world full of shifting allegiances and transient affections, this enduring love is an anchor for our souls. It’s the foundation of our hope, a comfort in our struggles, and a reason for constant gratitude. No matter what today holds, His love remains, a constant refrain in the symphony of our lives.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unwavering goodness and Your steadfast love that endures forever. May my heart be filled with gratitude for Your faithful presence in my life.
