Isaiah 40:31
but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Life often drains our reserves, leaving us weary and faint. However, Isaiah offers a powerful promise to 'those who hope in the Lord.' 'Hope' here isn't wishful thinking, but a confident expectation and trust in God's character and promises. For those who place their hope in Him, their strength will be 'renewed', it implies a fresh infusion, not just a recovery. The imagery of soaring like eagles, running without weariness, and walking without fainting paints a picture of resilience and supernatural endurance. It reminds us that our strength doesn't come from within ourselves, but from leaning entirely on the infinite power and faithfulness of God.
Prayer
Almighty God, when we are weak and weary, we place our hope in You. Renew our strength, Lord, that we may soar with faith and persevere without faltering. Amen.
