Colossians 4:5-6
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

Paul's counsel here extends beyond mere politeness; it's a strategic call to intentional living. 'Being wise' means discernment in how we interact with those outside the faith, recognizing that our lives are a witness. 'Making the most of every opportunity' implies readiness to speak and act in ways that honor Christ, not just waiting for overt 'witnessing' moments but living a life that consistently reflects His truth. 'Grace-filled, seasoned with salt' conversation suggests speech that is both kind and discerning, able to cut through superficiality with truth without being harsh. This wisdom prepares us 'to answer everyone,' not with canned responses, but with thoughtful, Spirit-led words that address real questions and concerns.
Prayer
Gracious God, grant us wisdom to walk circumspectly and speak with grace and truth. Help us to honor You in all our interactions, using every opportunity to reflect Your character to the world.
