April 3 brings us to a foundational aspect of Christian life: faith. The writer of Hebrews defines faith not as a blind leap into the dark, but as a confident expectation and an internal assurance. It’s an active trust in God’s character and His promises, even when the tangible evidence is absent. We often want to see clearly before we believe, but God often calls us to believe before we see. This confidence isn't arbitrary; it's rooted in the proven faithfulness of God throughout history and in Christ. To walk by faith means to live in the light of God's unseen reality, trusting His wisdom and timing above our own limited perception. It’s a journey of relying on His truth, even when our path seems unclear.
Prayer
God, grant me a deeper faith today, a confident assurance in Your unseen hand and a hopeful expectation in Your promises. Help me to walk by what You have declared, not just by what I perceive.
