Moses' charge to the Israelites before entering the Promised Land is a timeless truth for believers facing any daunting challenge. The command to 'be strong and courageous' is not based on their own abilities or resources, but on the unwavering presence of God. He is not merely observing from a distance; He actively 'goes with' His people. This promise that He will 'not leave you or forsake you' is a profound assurance of His constancy and devotion. When we remember that the sovereign God is our constant companion, fear loses its grip, and courage finds its firmest foundation.

Prayer

Almighty God, I pray for strength and courage today, knowing that You go with me. Thank You for Your promise never to leave or forsake me.
