Jesus, facing temptation in the wilderness, reminds us of a fundamental truth: our deepest nourishment comes not from physical sustenance alone, but from God's Word. Just as our bodies require daily food, our souls thrive on the spiritual sustenance found in Scripture. This isn't just about reading words on a page; it's about actively engaging with and living by the divine wisdom, promises, and commands that proceed from the Author of life. When we prioritize His Word, we find not only guidance and strength but a profound sense of purpose and fulfillment that the world cannot offer.

Prayer

Lord, open my heart and mind to receive Your Word today. May I not live by bread alone, but truly find my life and sustenance in all that You speak.
