When we approach God, we might sometimes feel a sense of distance or unworthiness, believing He cannot truly understand our daily struggles. This verse dismantles that misconception. Jesus, our High Priest, is not detached from human experience. He fully understands our 'weaknesses' and has faced 'every temptation' we do, though without succumbing to sin. This profound empathy means we can draw near to Him with confidence, knowing He comprehends our fears, our pain, and our struggles. His perfect humanity, coupled with His deity, makes Him the ultimate bridge between us and God, a compassionate advocate who truly gets it.

Prayer

Merciful Savior, thank You for Your perfect empathy and understanding of my weaknesses and temptations. Help me to draw near to You with confidence, resting in Your complete understanding and compassionate heart.
