In a world inundated with information, true wisdom remains elusive. This proverb reminds us that authentic wisdom doesn't originate from human intellect or worldly pursuits, but directly from the Lord Himself. It's not something we can manufacture, but a gift to be sought and received. 'From His mouth', through His Word and His Spirit, come the 'knowledge and understanding' we desperately need to navigate life's complexities and make choices that honor Him. If you find yourself at a crossroads or grappling with a difficult decision, lean into this truth: the source of all wisdom is accessible and willing to impart it.

Prayer

Wise God, I confess my need for Your divine wisdom daily. Open my heart and mind to receive knowledge and understanding from Your Word, guiding my paths and decisions.
