These verses offer a profound cyclical truth about God's comfort. We experience 'affliction,' and in it, God, the 'Father of mercies,' provides 'all comfort.' But this comfort isn't just for our own relief; it equips us to extend the same mercy and comfort to others. Our suffering, when redeemed by God, transforms us into vessels of His compassion for a hurting world. It means our pain is not wasted, but purposeful, creating empathy and understanding that only firsthand experience can forge. Prayer

Gracious God, thank You for Your endless comfort in my afflictions. Help me to receive it fully and empower me to share that same comfort with others who are suffering.
