2 Corinthians 1:3-4
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."

These verses offer a profound cyclical truth about God's comfort. We experience 'affliction,' and in it, God, the 'Father of mercies,' provides 'all comfort.' But this comfort isn't just for our own relief; it equips us to extend the same mercy and comfort to others. Our suffering, when redeemed by God, transforms us into vessels of His compassion for a hurting world. It means our pain is not wasted, but purposeful, creating empathy and understanding that only firsthand experience can forge. Embrace the comfort you receive today, and look for opportunities to share it.
Prayer
Gracious God, thank You for Your endless comfort in my afflictions. Help me to receive it fully and empower me to share that same comfort with others who are suffering.
