Jesus’ words to the Samaritan woman at the well offer a profound promise: an inner spring that satisfies eternally. This isn't about physical hydration, but spiritual sustenance. When we receive Christ, He indwells us, providing a constant source of life, joy, and peace that cannot be depleted by external circumstances or fleeting desires. This 'spring' is the Holy Spirit, continually refreshing and directing us toward God's eternal purpose. It means that even in the driest seasons of life, we carry within us the capacity for renewal, for a vibrant connection to the divine. We don't have to constantly chase after temporary solutions for our spiritual thirst; rather, we draw from the abundant life Christ has already given us.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the living water of Christ that quenches my spiritual thirst. May I continually draw from this spring, finding refreshment and wellsprings of eternal life within me today.
