When life feels uncertain or challenging, it's easy for our focus to drift from God's unchanging nature. This psalm echoes a profound truth: God's goodness is not conditional, and His steadfast love, His 'hesed', is eternal. This isn't a transactional love that can be earned or lost, but a covenantal, unwavering commitment. It's the bedrock of our hope, a comfort in our sorrow, and the fuel for our praise. Recognizing this enduring love frees us from anxiety and empowers us to live with gratitude, knowing that His faithfulness transcends every circumstance we face today or tomorrow.

Prayer

Gracious God, thank You for Your unwavering goodness and Your steadfast love that endures forever. Help me to rest in this truth, giving You thanks in all circumstances.
