offers a profound assurance from the Lord amidst exile and uncertainty. While often quoted as a personal promise, it was initially given to a people awaiting restoration, reminding them that God's sovereign gaze extends beyond their immediate circumstances. He has 'plans', thought-out intentions, for our lives, plans ultimately aimed at our 'hope and a future,' even if the path to get there is complex. This isn't a guarantee of an easy life, but of a purposeful one, guided by a loving God who desires our ultimate good and spiritual flourishing. We can trust in His overarching design, even when we don't fully comprehend it.

Prayer

Sovereign Lord, I trust in your perfect plans for my life, plans to give me hope and a future. Help me to align my will with yours and walk in your purposes.
