Even in the midst of lament, Jeremiah finds a profound truth that transcends his suffering: the Lord’s 'compassions never fail' and are 'new every morning.' This isn't a promise that difficulties disappear, but that God's faithful love is a constant, renewing source of grace. No matter what happened yesterday, or what anxieties today might bring, God's mercy is freshly offered. This truth invites us to release the burdens of the past and approach each new day with hope, knowing that His tenderness and steadfastness are unwavering. His faithfulness is truly great, providing strength for every season.

Prayer

Merciful God, thank you that your compassions are new every morning. Help me to embrace your fresh grace today and trust in your great faithfulness, even through difficulties.
