As we step into a new year, this verse from 2 Corinthians offers profound encouragement. This promise isn't about simply turning over a new leaf by our own efforts, but about recognizing the foundational change wrought by God's grace. Our 'newness' is a gift, an ongoing reality to be lived out, sustained by the Spirit, and centered on Christ. Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank you for the new identity found in Christ. Help me to live each day as a new creation, leaving the old behind and embracing the new life you have given.
